Q: Do I need this Part?

 A: The Tambaroo uses super-strong magnetic technology to attach to the plunger assembly as you extract it from the French Press. Most Bodum® French Press plungers are made with ferromagnetic steel and do not require this retrofit component to be fully functional with Tambaroo.  However, some older models utilize a different grade of stainless steel that will not be magnetically attracted to tamabroo and may require this part.

Q: Why are there different models of the same size of replacement plates?

 A: Different manufacturers use various thread types and sizes in their French Press coffee makers. If your brand, model and size of coffee maker is not listed here please ask a store associate or go to www.tambaroo.com for assistance in choosing the right component.
